HERITAGE is an exhibition that both marks the twentieth anniversary of Edgar Campden’s death and celebrates the important influence his great talent has on his son Mark’s life and work.

HERITAGE is an exhibition that both marks the twentieth anniversary of Edgar Campden’s death and celebrates the important influence his great talent has on his son Mark’s life and work.
Edgar’s work is of the highest standard but is rarely seen. There are a few pieces in museums in the UK and internationally. The last exhibition of his work was in the UK in the late 1980s, after which he came to live and work in Kilkenny before his untimely death in 1998. This is a great opportunity for people with an interest in craftsmanship across different media to witness Edgar’s exceptional talent.
Mark’s work, creativity and work ethic, have been strongly influenced by his father’s legacy. From his earliest childhood play alongside his father to the enduring inspiration that continues to this day.
This exhibition will show, side by side, work by both father and son.
